7:00 - 10:00 PM With strong fingerpicking, catchy melodies and clever songwriting Jay Psaros is beginning to gain recognition with his debut C.D "Tripping and Running." Jay is a Singer/Songwriter from Weymouth, Massachusettes but can most likely be found traveling gig to gig on a variety of musical endeavors. Jay's influences draw from a variety of styles, which range from progressive acoustic guitar, folk, rock, jazz, and blues...all mashed together with a pop sensibility. Recently, Jay independently released his debut L.P. "Tripping and Running." Twelve songs wich display the versitility of Jay's craft. "Tripping and Running" has been featured on The River 92.5 (Bostons' Independent Radio), Pixy 102.9 (Cape Cods Rock), WUMB (Boston's NPR Station) and earned 3 "Top Tens" on Ourstage.com for Live Performance. Jay has also been featured on WERS 88.9 as a "Live Music Week Performer" and "artist on the verge." With his Martin guitar, recognizable voice, and a strong desire to grow as a songwriter, Jay will be performing frequently throughout the Northeast and the East Coast in a variety of venues and musical environments. Featuring: Doug Pettibone of “Lucinda William's” band, Skip Edwards of "The Flying Burrito Brothers" & "The Byrds". Over the years he's jammed with the likes of Tom Petty, Dave Immergluck (Counting Crows), Gilby Clarke (Gun's & Rose's), Doan Perry (Jethro Tull), Tony Coleman (BB King), Steve Gorman & Marc Ford (The Black Crowes), Ken Coomer (Uncle Tupelo, Wilco), Michelle Shocked, Nashville songwriting giant Rivers Rutherford & Founder of South By Southwest Louis Meyers. Bobby has opened for acts ranging from 311 & Quiet Riot to Colonel Bruce Hampton, The Bellamy Bros. & Country music legend Rodney Crowell!
